We are excited to be able to offer you an imaginative line of patterns unlike any others on the market. Our main focus is to encourage quilters who would like to do something a little different, but aren’t quite sure how to “make the leap”. We specialize in innovative versions of traditional quilts, some strip-pieced and some curved-pieced with templates, but mostly pieced with paper foundations. Believe it or not, this is a basic, beginning paper-piecing pattern. Even if you have never paper-pieced before, you will be making Courthouse Steps, Curved Log Cabins & Lemoyne Stars with ease. Measuring 36" square, with Baby Katchina you will learn some tricks that will make this method easy as pie & get you away from precise cutting, templates & "unsewing".

This lap size quilt (63" x 82.5") is the grown-up version of the Baby Katchina wall hanging, with the addition of an interesting, but easy-to-do border. You will be paper-piecing the border, Curved Log Cabin, Courthouse Steps & Lemoyne Star blocks like a pro in no time at all!

Our sample quilt has four light backgrounds & 12 dark backgrounds as well as 4 dark medium points & 12 light medium points. You'll love the challenge of Beauty of the Nile.

Fandance is a paper foundation pieced quilt pattern that is based on an art deco fan block & uses two sizes of fans to create the body of the quilt. Measuring 35" square, a paper pieced scallop-like border frames this quilt of fans. Pattern includes all instructions & papers for piecing.

With a combination of floral & leaf blocks surrounded by a lattice border, Birthday Bouquet is sure to delight everyone - not just the guest of honor. Measuring 45.5" square, this paper foundation pieced quilt uses a variety of floral fabrics & several different greens to create this beautiful floral quilt design.

Cactus Rose is a paper foundation pieced design that features Lady of the Lake blocks with a pieced sashing that creates the look of a star flower. Measuring 60" x 80.5", this pattern includes two paper foundation pieced borders to complement & finish the design.

A-Mazing Grace is a great scrap quilt that uses an assortment of quarter yard cuts ranging in value from light to dark - fat quarters will not work. Measuring 56" x 83", this strip pieced design is a variation of the traditional cobweb pattern that's quick & easy to assemble with our directions. In addition to this pattern, you'll need a 60 degree triangle ruler to help you complete A-Mazing Grace.

Complete set of the 5 "Building Blocks" patterns that creates this wonderful quilt. This quilt includes the following patterns: Pineapple Log Cabin TMFP4003, Art Deco Log Cabin TMFP4004, Courthouse Steps TMFP4005, Curved Illusion TMFP4006 and Triangle Log Cabin TMFP4007. Featuring a combination of different pieced blocks, Pina Colada is easier than it looks if you're careful with your fabric selections. Measuring 42" square, this paper foundation pieced design has several different rounds, each one a variation of a log cabin block. We chose a small multi-colored print for our frame fabric, six different golds for the pineapple, blues & greens for the log cabin, bright yellow & black for the Art Deco Stripes and six different reds for the Courthouse Steps. Changing the values creates a completely different look. Pattern includes all foundation papers & step-by-step instructions for completing this stunning quilt design.

Starting with a traditional "Sunburst" block, made with Primrose Gradations fabric, I proceeded to "goop it up" with free-motion machine embroidery and hand-sewn beads. I should have named it "too much is never enough". It will appear in the third "Quilts From the Quiltmaker's Gift" book.
